Paper2D Flipbook Normals Broken?

Anyone else having a hard time getting normals to work after creating the paper2d flipbook? If i drag a sprite in by itself, it works perfectly well with the normal map, but as soon as i take all of the sprites and create a flipbook (change the flipbook material to the same material as the sprite, defaultmaskedlit), the normal does not work at all. Is it just 4.24? I remember this working fine on previous versions, Anyone else have any idea if I am missing something?

This this might have resolved itself somehow. I updated to the latest hotfix patch and then turned off allow static lighting…so who knows.
