Paper Actors not rendering in right location

Hello! First time poster. I am a filmmaker trying to make my first project in unreal. I am using 3d animated characters in a mostly 2d set. I am using matte paintings in multiple layers for background elements. It’s a fun technique… used much better in things like Arcane.

Anyway, I have been trying different ways to get my 2d elements into the game engine and to be displayed properly. I settled on using paper actors and 2d paper , calling them sprites and setting the animation to 0 frames. It my sequencer it looks absolutely great - but when I try to render it out - the Paper Actors move up and down the Y axis and I dont know hot to stop it. If anyone has suggestions that would be fantastic.

I have tried placing them in the sequencer and putting keyframes in to lock the locations - and that stops the movement… but It doesnt seem to put them in the right place. Any help would be great.
