Panner animation does not work

I am making a simple candle flame, for which I need an animated texture. But panner animation is not showing in editor viewport at all, no matter how I change the parameters. This Is how my nods look rn, but I also tried to add Time node and Speed parameter to panner, with no result.

I also went to Starter Content and tried to open a water material, which also has panner in it, and it did not move in viewport, though I can see animation on preview sphere in folder. Any ideas what could’ve gone wrong? all this guys are on:

You need to feed time into the sine node, not a panner

Hm, that’s how it looks in some guys tutorial  I’ll try, thank you

I tried and it did not help, also I opened this one, which works in the scene, but not in editor

You quite often have to move the ball in the editor to get some action…

The most likely reason is becuase you have not toggled on preview as @ClockworkOcean mentioned. I believe the panning will start working if you hold down the left mouse button in the small material editor viewport window.

On my side (using unreal 5.3) in order to finally get the animation, I needed to go in the material preview window, click the 3 horizontal lines then click ‘Realtime’
