Hello everyone, I’m currently building a 3d sidescroller and have several 3d models as one complete mesh instead of seperate ones. My question is instead of going through blender and separating the meshes into uv mapping, can I just use a program like photoshop or mudbox?
Yes you can -> just export it as a obj/fbx and then paint onto them -> after that export it and import it into the ue4. But I think that you can also paint texture in blender
You still have to do UV mapping though.
