Tailorbird is a PropTech/ConTech startup, and our Computer Vision team is trying to build a robust automated 3D point cloud pipeline to generate high-quality point clouds from Aerial Images (fixed-wing aeroplanes) of real estate properties for our clients.
from commercially available engines we have tested Reality Capture and MetaShape. Reality Capture is much better quality and speed overall, but we get many failure messages using CLI while using GUI it succeeds with no issues with the exact same hardware constraints. We have been in contact with RC support team, but we did not get much luck as most of the error messages are very generic and vague.
We need someone who understands how Reality Capture’s CLI works and help us make the pipeline reliable, or at least conclude that RC is not the best tool for our use case.
