[PAID] [REMOTE] Experienced Programmers Needed For Next Gen Console Development

Project Title & Description:
Unannounced Title Working with a World Class Publisher

We are looking for programmers with Unreal Engine experience for work on a couple of multiplayer titles to be launched on Nintendo Switch, PS5 and Series X|S.

Team Name:
Joydrop Ltd

Previous Work:
Founded in 2014, Joydrop is a Canadian full-service agency specializing in video game development and production. Based in London, Ontario, we craft experiences for the Nintendo Switch, Sony PlayStation, Microsoft Xbox One, mobile, and PC.

Run by game industry veterans who’ve worked on AAA titles like Bioshock and Batman: Arkham Origins, Joydrop specializes in solving tough problems in FTUE, graphics optimization, and network cloud architecture, helping AA and AAA titles reach the finish line without crunch.

Speaking of crunch, Joydrop hasn’t in over 4 years. 35 hour work weeks are the norm.

Talent Required:
Unreal Engine Console Programmer

Join us and:
•Help bring games currently in full production to the Nintendo Switch and ninth generation consoles (PS5 and Series X|S)
•Contribute to Joydrop’s own IP, also written in Unreal
•Have a life outside of work

You’ll need:
•To live in the western hemisphere – living in Canada is a bonus… Ontario is even better
•To have shipped at least two UE4 games on eighth generation consoles
•To have worked on at least one UE game for the Nintendo Switch for more than several months
•Experience in several UE systems and console specific subsystems
•Specialization in one of UE’s systems or console specific subsystems, such as graphics optimization, networking, physics, HDR shaders, etc.
•An almost obnoxious attention to detail for proper coding structures and conventions
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Please provide:
•An up-to-date resume with a list of games you shipped and how you contributed to them
•A link to a portfolio of your coding work (website, blog, github account, etc.) containing source code and executables

Based on experience

We’ve hired one - but we’re looking for at least one or two more!
