[PAID] Packaging and Blueprint Unreal for VR - remote freelance position

Hi there,

We’re looking for a remote freelancer who’s particularly savvy in the packing (and blueprinting) Unreal Projects for VR – someone we can hire from time to time to help us solve issues when they come up.

Coming from software like Cinema 4D, my team feels (fairly) confident in creating scenes, texturing, lighting, animation, etc; but when it comes to the final step in the process (getting the project to export and package cleanly) we tend to run into issues.

While we have been able to get projects to package appropriately in the past, we recently had one packaged project work on my employee’s end, but didn’t have a video file playing correctly and the ability to turn your view to the right with the controller joystick on the rest of my team’s end.

Another time, I was able to get a low poly simple test scene looking good with the kind of lighting and screen space reflections I wanted (with forward shading off I believe), but whenever I packaged it, I found I was getting tearing in the animated elements in the scene. With forward shading turned on, the animations would look fine in the packaged project, but I’d lose all the nice clean reflections in my objects.

I’m sure these are just issues of my team not understanding settings in unreal, so having someone that we can call on and hire in a pinch to help us solve issues will make us more confident in taking on Unreal VR projects.
