Hello!
We are looking for a UI/Graphic design artist to provide art for PC UI interface, and/or VR user interface.
Game/Context:
Cry of Athena VR Battle Simulator (link to Steam) is a physics based sandbox battle simulator similar to Totally Accurate Battle Simulator, Ultimate Epic Battle Simulator, ARBS, etc but combined with the VR interactions of games like Boneworks and god game mechanics like being a giant god and punching tiny soldiers into the sky. It comprises of dozens of different units including swordsmen, gun wielding soldiers to minotaurs and dragons.
To get an idea of a theme, imagine the Pandora’s Box was opened and all of these armies from different time periods and dimensions came through which sets the tone of this sandbox physics game that might later evolve into a strategy/RTS. Athena and Ares are fighting against each other to get ahold of these armies for their own purposes. Overall, it is a sandbox with a story and theming around the Pandora’s Box and a Greek/Hellenistic flavor but we need to keep in mind literally any army or universe can exist in the game alongside each other so keeping a feeling of it being universal is important.

First help conceptualize UI that would fit with the game’s theme.

Look at the in-game screenshots (both non-vr and vr variants)

Look at the concepts listed in the “Possible Themes” section below to get an idea of how a redesign might look at. We can make something similar or you can come up with a possible scheme that could work even better than these.

UI should be minimalist-leaning, clean (not busy) and sleek, yet still stylized.

Once decided upon, figure out concrete UI elements to create and create the graphical interface.

Possible themes:
Very stylized and matches with “Cry of Athena” very well. Although compared to the two below, it could be somewhat busy and more cluttered to look at.
Clean, sleek style that could be more universal given the universal nature of the game.
Same as the previous (clean, and sleek) but with a darker tone.
Similar to previous two, slightly different styling.
