Nitrix Studios is looking to hire an experienced Level Designer for a large racing game project. US-based preferred, but not required. We offer several options for compensation:

Project Title:
Stormtide – Syndicate Rising
Description:
Stormtide is a futuristic racing game designed specifically for motion simulators with custom in-game branding. As the Level Developer, you would be responsible for:

Design and build large-scale racing environments in Unreal Engine 5

Translate concept art into playable, visually compelling levels

Environmental composition and placement of assets including vegetation, rock formations, terrain details, checkpoints, hazards, and landmarks

Shape terrain and traversal routes for high-speed off-road gameplay

Work closely with developers and artists to maintain gameplay flow and visual consistency

Optimize environments for performance across simulator hardware configurations
Your Unreal Engine experience should include:

Previous professional or indie experience designing levels in Unreal Engine 5+

Strong understanding of environment composition, terrain workflows, and gameplay readability

Experience optimizing large environments for performance and vehicle traversal

Familiarity with World Partition, Landscape tools, foliage systems, and lighting workflows

Version control experience with Perforce (Helix Core) or Git + LFS

Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across disciplines
Bonus Experience (Preferred):

Racing game, open-world, or vehicle gameplay experience

Procedural environment workflows

Blueprint familiarity
