JRM Technologies is seeking an elite Senior Software Engineer to help lead the future of advanced 3D sensor and graphics simulation. This role is ideal for someone with deep technical skills in Vulkan and DirectX12, and a passion for high-performance rendering in real-time systems such as Unreal Engine.


:wrench: What You’ll Be Working On:

  • Developing advanced GPU-accelerated sensor rendering software.
  • Extending Unreal Engine’s RDG/RHI layers in C++.
  • Designing and implementing modern renderpass architectures in Vulkan and DirectX12.
  • Supporting systems across Windows and RHEL Linux platforms.
  • Integrating and testing systems for defense/aerospace simulations.
  • Conducting customer training and presenting technical solutions.

:white_check_mark: Required Qualifications:

  • U.S. Citizen (required for security clearance).
  • BS, MS, or PhD in Physics, Engineering, Computer Science, Optics, or Mathematics.
  • Strong C++ and C development skills (5+ years).
  • Experience with Vulkan and/or DirectX12 (5+ years).
  • Familiarity with OpenGL and/or DirectX11 (legacy API experience).
  • Hands-on Unreal Engine RHI/RDG development.
  • Experience with NVIDIA GPU programming.
  • Comfortable with advanced math, algebra, and physics.
  • Experience developing in both Windows and Linux (RHEL) environments.

:eight_spoked_asterisk: Bonus Skills (Nice to Have):

  • Experience with sensors (EO/IR, FLIR, LIDAR, radar, sonar, hyperspectral imaging).
  • Familiarity with advanced rendering paradigms (Deferred, Forward Clustering, Visibility Buffer).
  • Global Illumination techniques, compute-to-raster interop.
  • Strong Linux shell or hardware/electronics experience.
  • Technical writing and proposal contributions.

  • Design and implement real-time sensor rendering software.
  • Support field testing and system validation.
  • Interact with customers and support training on our technology.
