[PAID][FULLTIME] Videogame Programmer - Unreal Engine (PC, Xbox, PS5)

Redemption Road Games (creators of Kingmakers and Road Redemption) is an experienced indie development studio in Atlanta, with a commitment to high quality, innovative, technically excellent games that stand out from the crowd.

We’re currently looking for an Experienced Unreal Engine 4/Unreal Engine 5 Gameplay Coder, to work in-house.

Our current project is Kingmakers, an online 1-4 player PvE third person shooter, with groundbreaking technology. Set in a world out of time, the player travels back 500 years to medieval England, in order to change the course of a bloody war to save the future.

Since announcing Kingmakers last month, the reception has been massive, with people instantly falling in love.

We’re excited to bring Kingmakers to PC later this year with console support in the following year!

Responsibilities:

  • Constructing gameplay systems
  • Debugging and optimizing existing gameplay systems
  • Thinking creatively and critically
  • Working closely with other coders, artists, and animators to contribute on game architecture and technical design
  • Write extensible and easily maintained game code using C++, and GPU-based shader code
  • Contribute to the videogame design process, if so desired

Desired Experience/Skills :

  • A love for and knowledge of videogames
  • Strong experience in Unreal Engine 4 (C++)
  • Strong 2D/3D math and/or physics skills
  • Ability to collaborate with team members to bring gameplay to life
  • BS Computer Science or equivalent professional or hobby experience
  • Proactive and motivated to learn and work well within team
