Arkwiz is building Geos — a platform that automatically generates immersive 3D environments from GIS data, used for architectural, infrastructure and construction visualization.

Responsibilities

We’re looking for an Unreal Engine Technical Designer to further develop the Geos platform.

Some examples of projects you’d be responsible for:

  • Furthering our PCG setup with an emphasis on GPU acceleration and optimization

  • Rendering pipeline and optimizations to achieve good looking results on medium hardware (AWS A10 instances)

  • A system for changing and adjusting materials on assets at runtime

  • Interactivity, navigation

  • Exporting images and videos at runtime

  • Supporting the Houdini artist by building content from their generated data

We’re a small team, we compensate according to market standards, and we’re looking for mid- to senior applicants.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate has a broad understanding of the engine, from materials and scripting to interactivity and tool-building. Very well versed in blueprints, C++ or both.

If you have experience with python, web tools, backend systems or generative AI, that is also a plus.
