Responsibilities
• We meet every Monday to discuss the project. Meeting on Tuesdays for artists. You are expected to meet and discuss progress and ideas for the project with the team. We encourage you to be active in the development process and offer your opinions.
• Work assigned tasks, making both fast and refined animations to speed up development. • Make needed adjustments in animation blueprint
• Work closely with programmers to implement animations. You are expected to communicate consistently, and respond within a reasonable time frame.
• Animate 12 frame rate on a 8 frame scale in blender, with animation lengths of 12-24-34 respectively, occasionally using Time stretch curves.
Qualifications
NOTE: If your portfolio does not show combat animations you will not be considered.
• Full knowledge of animation blueprint, or capable of easily problem solving animation blueprint issues.
• Must be familiar with unreal engine 5.2
• Must know how to create cinematic animations in both blender and unreal engine
• Must know how to work with Blender.
• Must be able to utilize provided rig, and be capable of using your own rig.
• Capable of doing complex combat animations as well as other animations unrelated to combat
• Must know how to utilize unreal engine’s cinematic pipeline
• Capable of making quick and fast prototype animations then refining them later.
• Must be self-sufficient and capable of doing your own research while working in a team environment.
• Must understand strong action poses and how to use them effectively.
