Software Engineer - Infrastructure/DevOps

Responsibilities

  • Take charge and develop backend infrastructure features from start to finish
  • Utilize an internal and external feedback loop while developing core features of our products
  • Work and collaborate with a remote team
  • Create measurable success, be self-directed, and manage your own workload

Basic Qualifications

  • Excellent analytic, trouble-shooting, communication skillsets
  • Deep understanding of Computer Science/Information Technology concepts
  • Capacity to plan, architect, develop and deploy production-ready infrastructure supporting millions of concurrently connected users
  • Experience with a variety of programming languages for development task automation, generating reports, and creating tools (C#, C++, Python, Node, Go)
  • Experience in developing and optimizing REST services
  • Familiarity with NoSQL and SQL database concepts
  • Experience developing a large codebase using version control systems like git

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with our tech-stack: ASP.NET Core, AWS Gamelift, AWS Serverless(Lambda, DynamoDB, S3…)
  • Experience with container tools like Docker and Kubernetes
  • Experience with Linux​

3D Technical Animator:

Responsibilities

  • Communicate with other artists and engineers to design and create animation systems
  • Collaborate with game designers and engineers to create viable animation sets for in-game assets
  • Provide extensive feedback to engineers for the development of in-house animation software
  • Participate in design meetings to create, develop and animate compelling characters
  • Work and collaborate with a remote team
  • Create measurable success, be self-directed, and manage your own workload

Basic Qualifications

  • Experience creating animation assets for film or games
  • Versatility and ability to create assets across different styles using a variety of animation techniques
  • Experience with general-purpose art software such as Blender, 3DS Max or Maya
  • Understanding of fundamental animation principles
  • Strong knowledge of rigging, procedural animation and other technical animation principles
  • Ability to create clean and optimized animation assets within UE4
  • Excellent communication, visual design, and collaboration skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong scripting and technical/engineering skills
  • Experience with visual design, rendering etc.

3D Character Artist:

Responsibilities

  • Communicate with other artists and participate in art-design meetings to create interesting, rich, and believable character designs
  • Create high-resolution character sculpts in sculpting software such as Zbrush, Modo, Blender
  • Retopologize and create clean low-poly topology and UVs
  • Collaborate with animators to assure believable movement for the characters
  • Work on a completely remote team
  • Create measurable success, be self-directed, and manage your own workload

Basic Qualifications

  • Experience creating character art assets for film or games
  • Versatility and ability to create assets across different art-styles and genres with an emphasis on character design
  • Deep understanding of human anatomy
  • Hard-Surface modeling skillset
  • Experience with general-purpose art software such as Blender, 3DS Max or Maya
  • Understanding of PBR and ability to create high-resolution PBR textures
  • Ability to create clean and optimized geometry with LODS
  • Excellent communication, and visual design skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with rigging/animation
  • Technical art experience
  • Sketching/Concept Ability
