Arkwiz AS is based in Ålesund, Norway, and we’re seeking a long-term relationship with an experienced Unreal Engine developer. Our goal for 2022 is to launch the first version of our application, a solution for seeing planned architectural projects in context with their environment.

The person we’re looking for has both experiences with - and a deep understanding of - the Unreal Engine, C++, and Blueprints. Some aspects of the work might require you to come up with new solutions to less explored problems. A broad background and a varied CV are a plus.
Knowledge of systems outside Unreal is beneficial. Specifically, our application will run from - and store its asset on - AWS servers. Networking, real-time patching, and related topics will be part of the job. General experience in software development is also appreciated.
We’d like to spend as much of the workday as possible in the same time zone, and we expect fluent English, both spoken and written.
We’re open to applicants working remotely, and we can discuss helping with relocation to Ålesund, Norway. We offer a competitive salary for a 40-hour workweek.
Part-time applicants are also welcome, but as we’d like to progress as quickly as we can, a 50% position is a minimum requirement.
As both the company and the product are in their early stages, you’d become an important and valued member of the team, with a large degree of freedom to design your own solutions.
