[PAID/CONTRACT] Procedural Vegetation Artist (Nanite / Houdini)
Project Title:
Procedural Vegetation Library
Description:
Creation of high-quality vegetation assets for arch viz projects in Unreal Engine.
Focus on plants and trees built entirely with geometry (no opacity masks) to leverage Nanite-based foliage workflows.
Tree creation may require using Unreal’s Procedural Vegetation (PVE) tools, with assets created in Houdini.
Work is focused on creating plant “species” and generating variations that can be reused across multiple projects.
Assets produced will be used internally and also prepared for distribution on FAB.

Previous Work:
Private client work for real estate developers since 2015.
Talent Required:
Vegetation Artist (1)
Strong experience creating realistic plants and trees.
Understanding of geometry-based foliage workflows (no opacity-based solutions).
Ability to create clean, optimized geometry for real-time use.
Experience with Houdini is required.
Understanding of variation systems (different ages, shapes, density, etc.).
Ability to create reusable, production-ready assets.
Fully remote position.
Ongoing collaboration with recurring asset creation needs.
Compensation:
Paid or contract, depending on candidate preference.
If paid — monthly salary to be discussed.
If contract — paid per asset/species created.
Additional Requirements:
Must be able to invoice legally according to the regulations of your country in order to receive official payments.
