We are looking to hire a Real-time Environment Artist, preferably in **Beijing, **freelance work also a possibility for someone highly skilled, who doesn’t want to relocate. Responsibilities will be mostly environment concepting, modeling, lighting, shading and texturing. Real time application used is Unreal Engine 4.
Skills and Requirements:
Model, unwrap and texture assets for real-time, VR and AR applications, using 3D studio max or Maya
Understanding of the compromises and constraints inherent in the production of in-game art
A strong eye for form, shape, structure, color, and light
Understanding of photographic composition
Experience in Substance Painter or similar tools for creating in game PBR materials
Experience in producing realistic interior and exterior environments (including Lighting, Lightmass baking, PBR materials) in UE4
Welcome but not essential:
Experience in architecture design/rendering
Non-real-time rendering experience (v-ray, corona)
VR optimization experience
Basic knowledge of Unreal Engine’s Blueprint system
German or Chinese language skills
