Hi everyone,
We’re launching LUMO XR, a new immersive platform blending real-time 3D, large-scale projection, interaction and narrative storytelling, powered by Unreal Engine.
The project sits at the crossroads of game engines, live experiences and location-based entertainment (LBE). We are creating a new format of immersive experience openning up virtual worls in the physical space.
We’re currently building a small R&D lab in Paris, working on early prototypes (mapping, audience tracking (with our partner Augmenta.tech), gameplay, guest behavior etc. )that will define the technical foundations of the platform.
The Project
-
Unreal Engine as the real-time core
-
Multi-surface / multi-camera rendering
-
Interactive systems (triggers, orbs, spatial interactions, tracking inputs)
-
Real-time synchronization between rendering, interaction and physical space
-
Strong focus on performance, scalability and clean architecture
This is a long-term project with serious backing (investor and France 2030 laureat), currently in a stealth / early development phase, so public information is intentionally limited.
Who We’re Looking For
An Unreal Engine Developer (or Tech Artist with strong UE skills) who:
-
Is comfortable working close to the engine
-
Enjoys prototyping systems, not just placing assets
-
Understands real-time constraints (latency, FPS, sync)
-
Is curious about pushing Unreal beyond “classic” use cases
-
Wants to help shape a new format from the ground up
You don’t need to be a AAA veteran, but you do need ambition, rigor, and curiosity.
Skills (not all mandatory)
-
Unreal Engine (Blueprints and/or C++)
-
Real-time rendering & optimization
-
Gameplay / interaction systems
-
Interest in projection, immersive setups, or physical installations is a big plus
Collaboration
-
Paid mission / contract, with possibility to evolve into a longer collaboration as we are looking for long term collaborators
-
Hybrid setup: Paris-based preferred, remote possible depending on profile
-
Small, focused team — high impact per person
Why Join?
-
You’ll work on something that doesn’t exist yet
-
Technical challenges that go beyond standard game pipelines
-
Real creative and technical ownership
-
A project aiming to redefine immersive entertainment, not just iterate on existing formats
