[PAID] Blueprint UI Engineer

Apex Systems (the Client is Fortune 100 Company based in Seattle, WA)
Duration: 12-18+ month contract

Game: top-down shooter mobile game. Beta tested and currently in production to release internationally.

Description of work:
75% will be building the UI to required specifications using Blueprint for a top-down shooter mobile game. You must be able to understand UI design concepts in Blueprint: building for multiple resolutions in mobile, how macros are used, knowing the components to build UI and why they are used, using different widgets, etc.
25% bridge the gap between client data and presenting that data in the UI. This will involve finding data in the client, potentially writing code to retrieve data from back end systems, exposing that data in a clean and scalable way to blueprint.

Qualifications:
-3+ years hands on experience with Unreal 4 UI and Blueprint
*must be able to understand UI design concepts in Blueprint: multiple resolutions in mobile, how macros are used, knowing the components to build UI and why they are used, using different widgets, etc.
-1+ year professional engineering experience in C++ *must be able to bridge the gap between client data and presenting that data in the UI.
-Strong communication skills
-Ability to work with a team through ambiguity
-Experience working in a team environment

Preferred: multiple shipped title with Unreal 4 on mobile platforms Preferred: strong architecture level understanding of mobile clients
