Paid Assistence

I wonder if there is a way to hire some expert, epic games or not, that helps you to solve bugs.
Sometimes I have bugs that really make my life hard and if nobody in the forum helps you, you are just screwed.

Hello Daniel you can unreal slacker discord channel for paid or Contrack based assistance in you can add your job description and hope for the best, or you can try freelancer or some other freelancer type website for assistance but not sure about the pricing in such website.
hope this help

I think everything is more about to create jobs or a project. Rarely these kind of people help you for a bug or something like that. I’ll try on discord.
Anyway I think Epic game should provide this kind of service. At the end we are talking about their software that doesn’t work properly and you are just in the storm trying to figure out how to survive

I mean in a way they have done it with slacker it is unofficially approved but I get it want you meant by it, my best approach is to make a Contrack or prema job in the slacker channel and whom ever you find he/she may be your best personally for the your query.

Hey there @Daniel_Mine! We definitely try to make our way to many of the posts when we’re online, but the sheer volume makes it hard to take a look at all of them. We also have our own specializations and backgrounds so much of the time we’re more skilled at answering specific types of questions. An example is my background is indie game development and IT so I focus on helping people with code, blueprints, or technical issues more than anything. I still assist with art/tech art when it’s in my knowledge sphere though. Since everyone already mentioned this forum area specifically is for the old UDK and UnrealScript, so not too many people frequent anything over here. My filter doesn’t even extend to this side so I would never have even seen this post if not for @AntiGravity pointing it out. I went to take a look at your recent post and I’ll try to assist you over there.

As for an answer on this thread, everyone else has already covered the big ones I would have said either way. Another option is finding a mentor, it’s not easy but if you can it can be an excellent way to learn and get help on things that otherwise would have to wait on the forums for an answer.

Greetings @Daniel_Mine !

As @AntiGravity pointed out, the Legacy - UDK - Programming and UnrealScript forum is a section for former, currently unsupported UE programs. Due to this, I have had to move your topic to Community & Industry Discussion. I kept your UE5-0 optional tag and added the “bug” tag as well.

In the future, should you choose to advertise for paid assistance, please post a job offering in the Community - Got Skills? Looking for Talent? forum. Beneath the forum category, you will see the following: “Need someone talented to join your team? Post your open positions here!”

Please remember, when posting, be sure to review the categories to ensure your topic is posted in the most relevant space.

Additionally, if you are experiencing bugs and have not done so already, please feel free to report your bugs to our team.

The Unreal Engine bug submission form can be found here. When submitting a report, we highly encourage everyone to include images and videos, but any and all details are helpful!

We may reach out if more information is needed.

Thank you for reading this, and I wish you the best of luck with ironing out the development issues you are having!
