About Us
SpecsAutoView is a small team building a next-generation automotive customization platform that allows users to visualize aftermarket parts on real vehicles in 3D. We’re working with high-quality car models in Unreal Engine 5 and are now looking into modeling affiliated aftermarket parts across multiple brands and vehicles.
We currently have 13 vehicles in our pipeline and are scaling up to hundreds of parts.
We are looking for a skilled 3D hard-surface modeler for long-term, recurring work.
The First Project (Your Initial Workload)
You will begin with 36 parts for the 2022 Toyota Tacoma TRD Pro, including a mix of:

Exterior accessories
-
Body components
-
Trim pieces
-
Wheels / lighting
This is the test project. If quality and consistency are strong, we’ll continue with monthly batches across all vehicles.
Responsibilities

Create clean, accurate 3D models of automotive aftermarket parts based on photo references or manufacturer links

Maintain proper scale, naming conventions, and UE5-ready topology
-
Provide UV-unwrapped assets (no need for textures unless specified)
-
Deliver in FBX format
-
Communicate progress reliably and meet agreed deadlines

Ensure parts fit perfectly on our existing vehicle models provided
Requirements
-
Strong understanding of hard-surface modeling
-
Experience modeling automotive parts or similar mechanical assets
-
Ability to follow reference photos and recreate real-world geometry
-
Clean topology (no subdivisions unless needed)
-
UV unwrapping experience
-
Good communication skills
-
Blender, Maya, 3ds Max, or similar proficiency
-
Ability to work fast without sacrificing accuracy
Bonus:
Experience with Unreal Engine 5, LODs, or PBR workflows.
Compensation Structure (Per Part)
We pay per-part, based on complexity:
Tier 1 — Simple Parts ($15–$30)

Tier 2 — Medium Parts ($30–$50)

Adjusted downward to stay within budget.

Tier 4 — High Complexity ($80–$120)
Examples:

Wheels

Fully detailed headlights/taillights

Full widebody parts

Highly intricate multi-piece assemblies
Overall Target Budget for Initial 36 Parts:
$900–$1,100
We will review each part’s complexity before modeling so both sides agree on pricing upfront.
