Wicked Games is looking for experienced and motivated people to bring our first project to life. We are currently a small team, which we want to expand to bring our first project to market.
Our current roadmap sees us in early access roughly in Q4 2024, for which we would love to have people on board who can commit to us for that time period.
Since we are new, small, and remote only, it is important to us that you are an active and open communicator, who is fluent in English both in speech and writing.
We mainly look for people with experience in their role / the industry, but we are open to consider motivated fresh talent.
(SENIOR) UNREAL DEVELOPER- BLUEPRINTS/ C++
Your job will be to create solid, extendable features for our game in UE5. Multiplayer is a huge part- so netcoding experience is necessary. Our architecture will be predominantly in blueprints with custom nodes in C++ for optimisation.
REQUIREMENTS
- 3+ years of experience as a Game Developer with UE
- Strong problem-solving and analytic skills
- Experience with advanced BP concepts and C++ coding
- Experience with performance analysis and code optimisation
- Good English communication and collaboration skills
- Experience with building multiplayer games
NICE TO HAVE
- Basic experience with Git or other versioning / source controls
- UE Material visual scripting
- Solid skills in mathematics
- Experience with working in a team
