Do you have disconnected pins on a Get (a copy) node your project? (it should be connected to an existing array).

I dont think so

Well the latest errors on the list stem from BP_DataSmith_Component
Try opening the project and opening that component, try to recompile it and see if the engine throws any errors or warnings.

That is what i see

As you can see from the image you have red connection lines…that is bad.
Seems like some of the parameters were invalidated. You need to hook up all of the missing links to and set classes (the purple entries) where they are missing

Your project should pack once you fix all of your blueprints. Right now this one is loaded with errors.

None of the blueprint blocks should have the red error box at the bottom.

im not able to connect the node. how should i do it?
im sorry i’m new to this.

If the connection is actively being refused then try dragging out the empty pin and typing in the command like the node that refuses the connection. Recreate it and try “transplanting” the connections from the old blueprint node.

I have try every thing and im not abble to fix it. here’s my document can someone help me. the problem is in the blueprint.

VR_NGUYEN_22_1109.uproject (1.3 KB)

The .uproject file isn’t enough to open a project.

You’d need to upload the whole project.

ohh sorry here is a zip folder.

What class is Anchor supposed to be in BP Base Command Component?
It seems to be degraded to the base Object, while parameters seems to point to it being a specific class.

Classes that are missing the class
errors

Could it be that this class referenced as “Anchor” could have gotten deleted by accident causing the pack errors?

Edit: If you have any previous backups of the project try checking for this missing class.
It seems this specific class is missing in at least 3 blueprints.

I could make a hollow bp class with the needed variables to suppress the errors but without knowledge of what functions are handled within the class it would not fully play its role.

I think i accidentelly deleted de DRToolbarUI. it might be the anchor missing

I’m getting to the conclusion that anchor could have originally been a variable of type “Datasmith Destination”. That class seems to have functions like “Is Receiving” it also contains “is building”

Did you have any blueprint class derived from Datasmith Destination? (that as it’s parent class)

I was able to rebuild 90% of the bp it also has “loaded scene”

No because i dont usually even touch the blueprint when i work in ue4. i use it not for video game (so no programation), i only to visite spaces with client.

Well whatever class is missing it was a 100% a “Datasmith Destination” derived class. All needed variables are within this class base.

In BP_DataSmith_Component there is a spawn actor command that is then set to a version of anchor variable. And you can’t spawn the base class of “Datasmith Destination” so it had to be a bp class.

Edit: Ok so the only class that can be instantiated is one derived from “Datasmith Runtime Actor” (it seems to be the class implementation of Datasmith Destination).

Even found an event in your ui
runtime

I’m guessing by accident you disabled the “Datasmith Runtime” plug-in causing the classes to disassociate (it was off in your project)

All classes can be easily reconnected (but you need to create the for loops & loops with breaks nodes and reconnect their pins).

I’m only not sure about 1 class in the ui
in DRToolkitUI the “Current End Point” variable is reset and am not sure what was there. (So DRToolbarUI was not deleted)

Seems a class widget class is missing (it takes in a an exposed parameters “Anchor” and “Tool Bar”)

in my other project i have a widget call DRToolbarUI with an even graph like that could it be that?

The part that is missing is the class that is “Current End Point” (here it is just an Object node)

DRToolbarUI is present in the project just class of current end point is missing.

And yes that seems to be an identical graph.

okay so what can be done to fix that?

Btw i really appreciate the help

So steps to fix the project:

  1. Enable Datasmith Runtime" Plug-in
  2. Create new Blueprint based on “Datasmith Runtime Actor” (example AnchorBP) or copy it from the cloned project you mentioned earlier.
  3. Set all anchor variables to type from object to AnchorBP reference
  4. Recreate all links and for loops (+ with breaks where needed). All variables needed should now be accessible when you drag from the anchor pin
  5. Copy the missing endpoint class from other project.
  6. Places where you spawn classes and set them to the anchor variable should spawn the “AchorBP” class.

That should fix all of the errors and enable you to pack the project.

To create the AnchorBP class create new blueprint with the following parent:

You could also check the other project for the anchor class and probably copy it over if it’s parent is “DatasmithRuntimeActor” it may have some needed internal functions.
