Packaging with third-party plugins (w/o source)


I’m using a third-party plugin (VRML) to recieve tracking data for my HMD.
Works w/o problems in the editor.
However when game is packaged as a standalone app, the plugin doesn’t work.

After some reading on answerhub, it looks like Unreal doesn’t support third-party
plugins for “packaged” apps ? (unless you have a source code).

Can anyone confirm that ?

However, if you are still interested, I can confirm that yes, you must have a source code build in order to package third party plug-ins.
