Packaging to a web

hello.
i tried packaging the FirstPerson example to a wed and it didn’t work. i got this screen (image attached).
i packaged to a window and it succeeded.
what’s the problem?
thanks

.

I think you need to set up HTTP server (a software, not server machine) on your computer for test this, as you do web development having HTTP server is practically mendetory anyway

thank’s,
I talked in the past with sites builder and he told me that if I have an HTML file it should go on my browser.

Hi look3d,

Please look through our documentation here and follow the instructions. Does doing so allow you to properly package and launch web based applications? Sharing and Releasing Projects for Unreal Engine | Unreal Engine 5.1 Documentation

Hey, you can try this. I used to get the exact same loading screen. If possible install the latest version of UE4 and Firefox Nightly. Then Package your project to HTML5 and try to run it in Firefox Nightly. Go to the packaged folder and right click on HTML5 file and open with Firefox Nightly Browser.

Updating the UE4 version helped me resolve this issue. Hope this helps you out!

thank’s, I’ll check it. is the player need 64 bit or only the builder?

thank’s for your help. i’ll check it.
it importent to me, to know - is the player need 64 bit?

Yes, browser needs to be 64 bit.

Hi .

Is it correct?

It looks like this is correct. You will need a 64 bit browser for HTML5.
