Packaging on a MAC in UE5.2.1 not possible

Hey Guys, I was trying to Package my Game, for the first playtester.
Currently im Working on a MAC M1 Pro, with the latest MAC OS and unfortunately auto Update, updated my Xcode to Version 16.
The last 5 hours I tried everything I could find on the internet. But except for UE5.4 no Version supports Xcode 16.
I can not use UE5.4 because when I open my project, many things do not work. From assets which are missing to gameplay parts which are broken.
I cannot package my game, without an Apple Dev User, which I do not want to buy until my game releases.
Has anyone a solution for this?

I can update my status now. My only option was to Update to Ue5.4, but im getting the following error. Can anyone help me there?

Wasn’t it the case that you can register an Apple developer account for free and you don’t need to enroll the paid membership, as long as you don’t intent to upload your game or project to the AppStore?

Also, an ‘unknown error’ at the end of the packaging log usually refers to ‘known’ errors further up in the log. So it would be helpful if you could upload and post you full log.
