Packaging Holocaust suffering as a marketplace asset is not ok.

i need to bring something to your Epics and Fabs attention. something just popped up on my fab recent releases page and its really disturbing.

i get there are all sorts of unique packs on fab,

but this.

this is not ok.

selling a 1-1 recreation of Auschwitz is honestly disgusting.

its a death camp.

Historians estimate that around 1.1 million people were killed there. The vast majority were **Jewish men, women, and children, alongside Polish civilians, Romani people, Soviet prisoners of war, and others persecuted under the regime.

Because the place I’m describing isn’t just “a grim setting.”
It’s tied to one of the most documented human tragedies in history.
So when an asset pack casually mirrors that architecture barracks, watchtowers, crematorium without context or sensitivity and to make money…

No. Im sorry. thats not ok.

How the hell did Fab let this go for sale?? its sickening to the core.

honnestly I felt sick.

they’ve even recreated the crematoriumn.

but thats not the end of it. nope because they have another pack called NPC prisoners.

NPC Prisoners | Fab

this is what they’ve said about their NPC prisoners.

Hello, i present to you a Prisoners.
Two customizable characters - a man and a woman. They are anorexic, emaciated and thin. Characters can be used as inmate in camps, as poor people, prisoners or inhabitants of a post-apocalyptic world. Women and men can change their hairstyle and face. 5 options are available for both genders.
they are LITERALLY selling concentration camp inmates.

sorry for the side by side photos, they are harrowing but for some one to re-create this terrible place and try to sell it is not ok.

What makes this even worse is the potential for harm. Allowing a near‑exact recreation of Auschwitz onto the marketplace doesn’t just feel disgusting it opens the door for people to use it in ways that are outright dangerous. A location like this carries enormous historical trauma, and putting it in the hands of anyone who wants to download it creates obvious opportunities for hateful, antisemitic misuse. The idea that someone could take this environment and turn it into something mocking, celebratory, or propagandistic is genuinely horrifying. This isn’t just an “asset pack”; it’s a setting tied to real suffering, and treating it like a toy has serious consequences.

There’s also a really uncomfortable ethical line being crossed here. When someone sells an environment that is so clearly based on Auschwitz complete with barracks, watchtowers, and a crematorium they are, intentionally or not, making money from the Holocaust. That’s not hyperbole. This was a real place where real people suffered and died, and turning it into a monetised asset pack strips away the historical reality and turns it into a product. It feels exploitative in a way that goes far beyond poor taste. No one should be profiting from recreating a site of mass murder, especially without context, sensitivity, or any acknowledgement of what it represents.

Take this off the market. its not ok.

I totally agree. Did you notice the icon for the market was the front gates, but they shied away from actually having that in the screen shots.

This sort of thing should always remain documented as a warning. Not turned into a game…

@SupportiveEntity How could this slip through?.. ( I know it’s not your area, but maybe you know who to make aware of it ).

Hey there @ClockworkOcean and @casigus! Thanks for bringing this to our attention. It’s definitely a decontextualized recreation of Auschwitz, which carefully sidesteps many of the rules in place for depicting things of this nature by decontextualizing everything. I’ll see what I can do!

In the meantime, definitely report the asset so that the standard FAB moderation team can get a peek and verify the EULA violation and follow standard protocol.

From my quick glance at the Fab guidelines and Epic Content Guidelines, it seems to brush against some of these rules but the proximity would be handled by the respective team, especially due to the “historical” nature, but that seems to be stripped out with the removal of the context.

Discriminatory Content

Content should not demean, dehumanize, marginalize, use hateful language against, or perpetuate negative stereotypes about other users or groups on the basis of race, ethnicity, color, religion, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, national origin, or age. Content that promotes or encourages intolerance or discrimination will not be allowed.
Graphic/Explicit Content

We do not allow content that includes pornography or explicit child nudity. We do not allow content that depicts real-world torture, death, or mutilation, except in historical educational contexts.
Illegal Activities

Do not depict or promote illegal activities such as:

    Real-world violence and assault

was told it had been removed. it hasn’t the only thing the user has done is add this, as if it makes it ok. * WARNING:
This 3D model contains elements inspired by structures associated with the history of concentration camps. The content is presented solely for artistic and historical representation and is not intended to justify, support, or romanticize the tragic events of the past.

they are also seeling npc prisoners that look exactly like the inmates of the camp, its just not okkkkkkkkkkkk
