Packaging for windows does not work

I am unable to package a project under Windows. It runs and completes after a second. No errors or completion messages are in the log. What could be wrong?
It doesn’t create any files.

Is Visual Studio setup properly?

Since the last message is the fonts, and the engine eats the fonts if you delete the ini files, maybe check that the fonts are still avaliable and in the correct directory too.
the crash is happening just after a lazy load call.
make sure the DroidSansMono.ttf exists and that it is accessible first.

If that fails but the files are clearly available, make a new project and try to build with nothing in it. If that doesn’t fail UE works and the issue isn’t your rig.
you can then decide if to take some time to set things up properly in a new project and manually or via the Migrate function port over your assets/data to try and run the build in a project you know used to work initially.

Alternatively you can create the new project and copy over the content folder, may be less work then a migrate.

You will need to go through and re-set the engine settings at the very least anyway, but when you have no clue to go on (no errors in the log) this is probably the best approach…

Thank you for your replies but nothing helped. Visual studio 2019 is installed. I tried to package an empty project to no avail. Tried reinstalling the engine. Does anyone has any other ideas as to what could be the reason?

I having the same trouble, visual studio with c++ is installed even though I don’t code on c++ and don’t use it, but no files are prodused after packaging, have you found a solution yet?
