Packaging failed on Mac

Hi!

I am very new to Unreal Engine and I have just finished making my first small game for a class. I would like to package the project, but I keep getting the same errors in the Output Log when attempting to package the project. These are the errors that I am getting:

UATHelper: Packaging (Mac): ERROR: Failed to finalize the .app with Xcode.
PackagingResults: Error: Failed to finalize the .app with Xcode.
UATHelper: Packaging (Mac): RunUAT ERROR: AutomationTool was unable to run successfully. Exited with code: 6
PackagingResults: Error: AutomationTool was unable to run successfully. Exited with code: 6
PackagingResults: Error: Unknown Error

Update: I realized that I never fully completed the installation for the Xcode app on my mac. I finished installing it and now when I try to package my game I no longer have the error relating to Xcode.

However, I am still getting the AutomationTool error and I am unsure how to go about fixing this.

Were you able to fix this error? I have been trying for 4 days now trying to fix this but have no clue.

The user above appears to have forgotten to install Xcode app for their Mac when they were building. That was the remedy to fixing their specific problem. If yours is different, I’d be happy to look into it. I see part of the error that you posted. Could you provide the full error for me? Thanks!
