Packaging Failed Help

Hello,
I’ve just built my first level (I’m still learning the engine) and wanted to go through the process of exporting my game so I can learn the entire pipeline.
Then hopefully make my own game in the future (big dreams!)

It would also be wicked to play my game outside of Unreal Engine and off my desktop.

I’m using Unreal Engine 5.4
I have gone to :PLATFORMS - WINDOWS- PACKAGE PROJECT

This is where I get stuck.

At first I googled and thought it was SDK Management missing or something like that so I installed that and did the forced update under the packaged drop down menu.

No luck!

I wanted to check if it’s my computer or my level/game so I made a brand new project, loaded the third party template and tried to export/package that.

This exported! And works… which implies something is wrong within my level.

When I go back to my level and look at the “output log” I get an Unknown error.

My computer is Windows
AMD Ryzen 5 5500 3.60 GHz
32gb RAM
Windows 11
ASUS Radeon RX 6600 Dual 8GB GPU

Any help would be greatly appreciated
Also apologies if I’ve posted this question in the wrong place

Hey @SlickDoug!

From what I can tell you might just need to update your Microsoft Visual Studio!

Hopefully that’s all you need! But if it’s not, let us know.

Thank you so much took a little bit of time but managed to get it updated with a little googling

I can’t believe it! I built something and I can play it!!!
