Packaging: Build Failed

Hello,
I can build with a warning with UE4.17, but not in 4.18 that end with
AutomationTool exiting with ExitCode=25 (Error_UnknownCookFailure)

Warning in 4.17 become an error in 4.18:
LogOutputDevice: Error: Cannot create SoftObjectPath with short package name '('! You must pass in fully qualified package names
I’ve search for an asset misnamed ‘(’ but I’ve found nothing.

I have a lot of warning too about the landscape thumbnail…

I use sources from 4.18 branch downloaded on 25 october

I had this same error.

It turned out to be an entry in “Config\DefaultEngine.ini”

Removing the following lines solved it for me:

[/Script/Engine.AutomationTestSettings]
AutomationTestmap=(FilePath="../../../Jetball/Content/Maps/Lofty.umap")

Holy cow, i had that bug for about a year. didn’t change anything for me, but logged the error every time.

I’m pulling my hair out. None of this works. I deleted all the config files in my project and the error still persists. I was able to create a new project with the 4.18 source build and it successfully built past the errors, aside from other mind errors caused by missing fmod files (irrelevant).

I have no idea where the problem is and its preventing me from sending out a build. >_<

Same here, and did all of that but the error is still there.

I got this error and finally found my reason.

My problem was that I had an array of SoftClassPath with a Make Array node connected to it. The Make Array node had an input pin without anything connected to it. Removing this solved the problem for me.

how did you find that and how did you fix it? Im getting the same error and that answer above doesnt apply to me since i dont have that section in defaultengine.ini

Searching for “Make Array” and manually going through them might work if this is the cause.
Removing the empty one solves the build error for me.
