I’ve spent lots of time finding free, quality assets and tutorials online as a hobby even. Some are 50,000 leagues under garbage though (so many blender-for-beginners-part-1’s out there that its not even funny), but there is some really cool stuff. The way I see it, it is better to use a free, half decent asset for a personal project and buy the real deal when you start to wow people then it is to buy something and risk not finishing your game.
