Silantro Flight System provides AAA flight simulation physics with superb aerodynamics, realistic engines and aircraft components, which can be easily set up and controlled. With the scripts provided, you will be able to configure high-quality, fixed-wing aircraft models using just the 3D model and publicly available data. It can be used to simulate various aircraft types from propeller aircraft to turbine-powered low-subsonic speed jets.

Detailed Aerodynamics Modelling: The aircraft surfaces are split into segments, which can be configured to fit any aircraft shape, including complex wing geometries. The forces and moments on the aircraft are then calculated using standard aerodynamic principles and supplied airfoil data from Javafoil or Xfoil.
Numerous control surface implementations are also available for the surfaces such as Aileron, Rudder, Elevator, Spoilers, Flaps, Slats, Elevons, or Spoilerons.
Detailed Engine Modelling: The system comes with thermodynamic models of Turbojet, Turbofan, Piston, and Turboprop engines, which can be used to simulate the performance of such engines at different speeds, altitudes and various flight conditions.
Simple Table-Based models for power and thrust-based engines are also provided for rapid prototyping. You can configure these engines if you know the thrust or power produced at different speeds.
Support for External Inputs: The configured aircraft can be controlled using various input methods such as VR, mobile or custom inputs. The support files already contain configured settings for the keyboard and the Logitech X3D joystick.
Platform Independent Code: The system is designed to be completely standalone without external requirements for core functionality.
Full C++ source code: The source code is provided and can be customised to extend the included functionality or incorporate new ones with the existing components.
