“Owner No See” option is greyed out and mesh becomes invisible when possessing character

My player mesh disappears whenever I possess the character. When I unpossess (using F8), it becomes visible again. This is totally normal given that this option is enabled on my mesh. I thought this issue was simple since I have all my logic in my meta human which inherits BP_FirstPersonCharacter. However on the parent (BP_FirstPersonCharacter) the option is still greyed out.

Hello there, I had the same problem and I made a post similar to you a few days ago. I think I finally found the fix to this problem. Inside the viewport of you character create on the components a new static mesh and put the arms or whatever you have in there, after put the new mesh created under the camera (first person camera) of you character . You will have something like the photo below. It fixed my problem and I hope it does the same for you.
