Some ten months or so ago I began working on my first serious attempt (in UE4) at fulfilling an eleven year dream: creating a believable, immersive open world. There’s still a lot of work to do as you will see, but I can’t wait much longer to share what I’ve been working on.
Going forward with the project I intend to move on to a new landmass after migrating it to a new version of Unreal. I’ve spent a lot of time here and I’d like to move on once I have all my asset kits complete, that way I can, having learned what I have here, focus just on what I want to be doing without having to worry about the rest of it.
Soon I will be back to share more about my work so far and my learning process, hopefully being helpful to some, and to share more about my progress into the future.
