Overly bright objects after lighting bake

Hi all,

I have been working on a project for a little while now and have run across an issue with light baking that I can’t seem to figure out on my own or through searching online. It is a pretty simple interior scene of an apartment unit, but for some reason some faces of objects become overly bright and glow after I bake my lighting. I’ve tried modeling the objects in multiple different ways to see if that would alleviate the problem, as well as, try both using datasmith to import that model and fbx with manual light maps created. If anyone has run into this before or has any suggestions on how to fix it that would be great!

Attached is a screenshot from my latest test with just a couple objects in the scene exported as fbx files with manual light maps created. Also a couple screenshots from an early iteration where I was using datasmith to import the model.

Thanks

Hi Stephen,

Thank you for the suggestion, I have given the newest preview a try and the issue seems to still persist. Attached are screenshots of some of the objects still being overly bright, currently the only light source in the scene is a skylight with it’s intensity set to 1 and the indirect bounces set to 3. I don’t believe this is an issue with an overly bright light as much as it is with how the light is being baked into some of the object’s surfaces. I’ve also noticed when this weird lighting effect does occur on an object it seems to consistently appear on all of the faces along one particular axis.
