Output orientation of model

Hello everyone,

i got one question regarding the orientation of the model.
I am taking always the same pictures (Photobooth) but the orientation of the output model is always different.
Is there any way i get the same orientation in every model?

Thank you!

Using XMPs could help. See the “Re-use Alignment” topic in the Help (F1) section of your RealityCapture.

Alright, i will give it a try.
Does it also make difference how my photos are orientated? (Some of them are rotated ±90°)?

usually no, you do not need to rotate them

Hi Lukas
Yes, if images are taken as a landscape and some as a portrait AND the rotation is preserved ( look at the camera settings for auto image rotation ), then it can cause a wrong rotation of the final model. Ground control points ( points with precise XYZ axis coordinates ) can solve the orientation issue.
