Orthophotos processes

Hello,

I try to generate vertical orthophotos on a photogrammetry project (building roof). RC seems to not create a true orthophoto from images, but from texture (of the mesh) or from colorisation (of the points). In consequence, the orthophoto is not clean. Even with a GSD fixed at 2cm, results are bad, in compare with classic orthorectification processes (from images + seamlines) under photogrammetric softwares (Inpho, LPS, KLT, even Pix4D i think).

Is there an other workflow in RC or is it the only way to make orthophotos in RC ?

Thanks in adavnce for help.

Regards.

Hi Yoz
Can you be more specific + post some screenshots so that we can find the issue ?
You need to create a well-textured model if you want to have good quality orthophotos…
RC creates TRUE ORTHOPHOTOS so it seems that you did not use the ideal workflow…

Hi Wishgranter

RC creates TRUE ORTHOS, so from textures and not from original imgs (mosaic). Right ?

Hi Yoz
Yes, it creates TRUE ORTHOPHOTOS but from properly mapped textures on an object and NOT with a MOSAIC style…
