So it is a case that happens so rarely that you dont really need to care about it, but I will explain it with more words:
The ortho projection tool has its own settings for CRS, right, and it can be different from the project CRS. So sometime I work in projected geographical CRS like UTM (37, 38 whatever) and this setting is still saved in the orthographic projection tool. Then I do something else - objects which are in local:1 -euclidean and placed close to 0,0,0. Here are the GCPs I use to scale these small objects, so that you know - they are in an arbitrary CRS around 0:
1x12 113,-0.039,0.023,0
1x12 89,-0.032,0.000,0
1x12 85,-0.016,-0.028,0
1x12 83,0.015,-0.028,0
1x12 77,0.032,0.000,0
1x12 75,0.016,0.028,0
1x12 71,-0.016,0.028,0
Depending on the size of the object, the Center of the reconstruction box may have negative values for x or y , in that case, if you click on ‘Ortho Projection Tool’ it doesnt show up in the 1d Tab, also ‘Info Panel’ wont show and also the projection box is not available - because Ortho Projection Tool is still set on UTM and a negative x or y is not allowed in UTM! The problem then is that you cant change the CRS setting of the ortho tool when it is not available.
What you can do is to move the reconstruction box into positive coordinates and then change the CRS settings - but anyway, it is not a painful bug, although I dont even see the point in choosing a seperate CRS for the Orthoproj Tool.
I hope that explains it
All the Best
