It’s great that you guys wanted to make these assets available across many platforms however you ruined the organizational structure that quixel bridge had.
Everything was super organized and broken down into easy to navigate categories on quixel now everything is combined and is TERRIBLE! Why did you guys ruin such a good tool?
I get that we can look through the old quixel bridge and then buy/add assets on fab but it’s a senseless extra step. You should FIRE whoever made the FAB structure, the search is trash, there’s no collections or coherent categories.
It also ruins all pre-FAB tutorials, you end up spending more time finding the assets demonstrated in the tutorials than you do actually learning how to create cool stuff.
So many manhours wasted, so much clutter, extremely poor search algorithm.
Actions desired:
*Improve search algorithm for EXACT matching to show up first, then similarly or close names (for spelling errors etc)
*bring back COLLECTIONS. I want forest/city/desert assets easily collected together to find assets that work well together
*Allow users to make their own private/public collections
*FIRE whatever team designed this dumpster fire, I don’t know if you paid bottom dollar or outsourced this but it is FOOLISH, this market place is a revenue stream for EPIC Games and it should be EXTREMELY USER FRIENDLY 7 ORGANIZED.
The easier to use the more people will use it. The more people use FAB the more MONEY you will make!
