Orbit camera?

Hello! Does anyone have any suggestions or resources on how to add an orbit camera? Currently my camera component rotates around its own axis, but I wish to make it rotate around the axis of my character.

Sorry for asking about something that there’s tons of information about already, but I’m struggling to find C++ related results for my searches rather than blueprints.

Attach it to a swingarm. Look at the Third Person game template for an example.

Do some blueprints until you get an understanding of all of the basic UE features THEN come back to C++. You’ll find the learning curve a lot less steep.

Cheers for the swingarm tip, through searching about that I found spring arms. I now have a neat, smooth 3rd person camera in addition to first person!
