Orange Outline indicator that shows selection not appearing in Blueprint Editor?

When I select a static mesh actor in Blueprints, the orange outline that usually appears when you select an object doesn’t appear.

I am wondering whether this is a bug, or is supposed to happen. If it’s supposed to happen, is there any way to make it so that the selected objects in blueprints are highlighted in that orange outline like objects in a scene?

You probably figured it out by now but just in case it happens to anyone else: Just go to Editor Preferences → Level Editor - Viewports → Use Selection Outline (in the Look and Feel section).
