- Last image format stored
- Number (added between file name and orthophoto name) True/False
BUMP !
Especially Nr. 1 - the last file type preselected. This is standard behaviour.
While I am talking about it: I find it confusing that you offer all 4 names of the JFIF format (jpg, jpe, jpeg, jfif) even though they are (I am pretty certain) all absolutely identical. Same goes for tiff and tif, obviously. Less is sometimes more…
3 - how about that you would need to change the endings, if you had files exported from RC in a format which is not listed in a program (probably an older one) you want to import it to? some programs may require the other endings
2 - some things have probably changed in this area since the day of your request,
where exactly would that number be used and what would be its purpose?
Hi Lucia,
3: it’s not essential but I’ve never come across a software that offers all variations. No need to discuss it further…
2: When I export several Orhtophotos in one go, RC adds this number automatically and I can’t do anything about it. The problem is that it screws up the file arrangement in the explorer since it adds the number before the customizable orthophoto name.
1: I would like RC to remember the last extension that I used, which is common behaviour. As it is, it is always on TIFF. IIt’s not too big a deal and only two clicks more, but it also happens a lot that I have to re-do it because I forgot. And that just adds up…
2: your ordering issue can be avoided by setting ‘Append a name to the file name’ to False in the Export ortho projection dialog,
but listing your feature request in the pool
Thank you!
I use the internal name of the orthos to kkeep an overview, so if that name isn’t exported, I lose all that info for further processing the images…
+1
We give unique names for orthos already in the program UI, and those exact names should be used in export too (also when multiple orthos exported at once). Please do not force numbering of the files.
+1, I often name the ortho photos in the 1Ds view. It would be incredible to perform a batch export and not have to worry about re-naming each item.
