Optimizing landscapes: Possible to bake out landscapes with textures to static mesh?

I’m trying to build a small landscape for Oculus Go (Android) and it seems the landscape actor just destroys my frame rate. Is it at all possible to bake the landscape out as a static mesh with the current applied material? I know you can export it as static mesh but thought I’d ask if there was any way to retain the texture so you could reimport and have it look the same. Any info would be great, even tips on how to optimize a landscape for mobile.
