Optimize Single Layer Water?

At the moment using “Shader Complexity & Quads” in the Viewport the Water Material using “Single Layer Water” is way too high. Really need a way to optimize it, any suggestions?

I have the same issue now, did you find a way to optimize SLW or do you have to just live with its performance costs?

No, I didn’t find away to reduce it. Have you had any luck yet?
