Optimal strategy for detecting NPC debug characters with verse so they are seen as players?

Hello,

I am doing alot of work with custom verse behaviors and noticed the NPC’s you get from debug under islandsettings device are not perfectly viewed as players atleast by default from verse context.

I’m not using teams, my AI is custom, the spawners are set appropriately for a coop zombie defense game mode.

I have tried multiple strategies for doing this (from verse) and cant seem to get my verse to see them properly (as players) which makes debugging of dynamic logic difficult and impossible to trust.

I am assuming there is a proper way to do this and I’m just doing this wrong as there is persistence emulation settings for the NPC’s.
