I do get “Operation failed 0x7005” on the import of EXR files. In can see that the import including the tone mapping does work as there are files created, but deleted again in the end. I tried with less files it does work unitl 11 photos are imported, if I import them one by one. All working drives have plenty of free space.
I did the same procedure for already 3 photosets without problems except that it takes around 13 hours to import ~2000 .EXR files, but there it did work without this error.
Hi, I was able to import both (EXR and JPG) images into RealityCapture.
Can you please try to open RealityCapture with pushed SHIFT button and choose option Make it like a clean install? Then just import wanted images again.
Hi, I did the shift start ont he app with “make it like a clean install” but the error is still there.
I can import a single EXR file and everything works like it should including creating the tonemapped jpeg file. (The files I send you)
When I do import more EXR files it gives me the error after having worked and imported 3-20 photos depending on the amount I try to import. I already tried different storage locations for the tonemapped jpeg files but the error is still the same.
Hi, I tested my 10 EXR images and it was working for me. Can you send me those 24 images with problems?
Can you describe your steps during this process?
Also, you can try new [pre-release version,](Redirecting...tn =-UK-R&c%5B0%5D=AT3Vi3wsAazOpFRoucZ6QNsULwV9q-hSPO90U_LMGcQMmideR-8-5Zjb_cKJvGBs3bSve_VO4TBvm2Hy3ZL7mMJ3W-10kG9zl_eYDQQGPeSTmnUPnSR4Jg-KLkl6nK3l2VqY7gFbOr3Q2gMNTBlP9pC5tgkvA6gnVJA) if it will be also in this version.
open RC > click Workflow > click 16-bit/HDR Images from Import section > choose RC tone mapping and …/_geometry as storage location
If I choose Inputs from Add imagery then RC is importing the EXR files and gives the error at the end of the conversion.
I think the problem is not related to a certain photo as I can import every photo if I do import a single EXR file. It always happens at the very end of the creation of the tone mapped jpeg files.
I did single file imports, one photo after another, 6 photos worked well on the 7th file RC imported only the exr file so I assume the conversion of tone mapped jpeg did already fail. On opening it with Photoshop it says “zlib compression failed”. I copied the file again and not it worked on the single import, I wil try the batch import again. Hopefully this was the problem. It would have been great if RC could tell me the image it fails on.
Or, what would have helped also a lot would be RC not deleting all imports but keeping on failure at least the .exr files like it did on the single file import. Like this I could have seen the problematic file.
