Opened a project with another Engine version by accident, can't open it now

Hey there,

so I downloaded the ue4-OceanProject from GitHub for testing purposes. I tried to open it with UE 4.25.x (because I just installed the latest release). However it seemed glitchy so I downloaded version 4.20 (like it says on the installation notes on the ocenprojects github page).
Everytime I try to open it using 4.20 it tells me that it is not possible since the project was created with a newer Engine version. I deleted the project (from my folder as well as using the EpicGames Launcher), redownloaded and reextracted it but always the same. In the launcher it even says it was created with 4.25 (which is not the case since I redownloaded it).

Is there any workaround for this, maybe some cache I can clear to make Unreal forget that it once openened the project with 4.25?

Thanks in advance!!

i usually delete these folders on each release, but be prepared to have to recompile your shaders again… don’t know if this will help, but it won’t hurt anything…
