i posted this on the answerhub but i got no answer.
The tree material is all weird looking. I am new and have absolutely no idea why it is showing up like this. It was completely fine before. Then I had deleted lighting and tried adding lighting back and it also went strange looking. And though I got most lighting problems resolved ‘okay,’ the trees never looked ok after.
The tree is from the Kite Open World pack.
I had some difficulty with lighting before and for the most part think I resolved it.
Here are some warnings found in my log.
Warnings I get in the output log that seem they could be related: These are in yellow: LightingResults:Warning: Warning InstancedFoliageActor_2 The total lightmap size for this InstancedStaticMeshComponent is large, consider reducing the component’s lightmap resolution or number of mesh instances in this component LightingResults:Warning: Warning InstancedFoliageActor_2 Instanced meshes don’t yet support unique static lighting for each LOD. Lighting on LOD 1+ may be incorrect unless lightmap UVs are the same for all LODs.
Any help would be very appreciated.
