Open a 4.7 project with the 4.8 version

I have a project with the 4.7 version and I am really far with that project. Is it possible to open that project with the 4.8 version? If yes,how?

yes it is possible, this thread should be useful, when you convert your project I would recommend you use the “create a copy” option rather then “convert in place” just to be on the safe side.

Just do a right click on your uproject file - switch unreal engine version - 4.8
Make sure to create a backup of your 4.7 project!
